COMING UP ACTIVITIES


Charity Walk


The first charity walk was held in 1993 and many churches responded. We will hold one this year
for the women's ministry.

The walk is on 28th October 1998 (Chung Yeung Festival). We will walk from the West dam of
High Island Reservoir to our Long Ke training centre. It takes about two hours to finish the walk.
Participants should carry water and prepare lunch for themselves. The minimum amount for
fund-raising is HK$300.


Thanksgiving Day


In the last year, Wu Oi has organized a lot of activities:

It is our 26th Anniversary in 1999. We will hold a Thanksgiving Day on 21 November, testifying
the grace of God.


Volunteers meeting
Volunteers truly are a blessing to us. They help us in distributing tracts, organizing activities,
translating newsletter and caring for the trainees.


Open Day
For the past few years, we had our open day in Long Ke. In 1999, it was still held in there and
1600 participants joined it.


Flag Day
It is for the ministry for the men and is held on 29 July 2000.


Charity Walk

The walk was scheduled on 28 October 1998. 200 people signed up to walk from the west dam of
High Island Reservoir to Longke Training Centre. We are still in the process of counting the collection.


Testimony

We are going to publish a book on the testimonies of our brothers and sisters. It is about their first
contact with us, their struggles, their family relationship restored and the time of returning to society.
