Wu Oi started its work in Chuk Yuen. Later we moved away from the city to set up a
live-in centre. We have been to Chak Lap Kok and Ha Gan in Lantau Island, and Sha Lo
Tong in Tai Po.

To start with, the government
rented usthe Long Ke Bay at
one dollar a year. The pencil
frameworkprogramme could
be carried out.

May 1982

Shun Tin Halfway house was put into
operation. It was for those in the trial
and completion stages so that they
could readjust themselves to this
fast-pace society, and restore
relationship with family.

1992 In the 90s, the number of youth abusing drugs has been increasing. Teenager boys and men
have different needs in their training. We separated them by the age of 18.
