MINISTRIES

OUTREACH MINISTRY This is a difficult and challenge part of the work. We contact drug addicts at Methadone centres and areas where crime is common. We introduce the service through distributing tracts, visiting courts and prisons, homes and hospitals. We also encourage addicts to go into a rehab centre. PASTORAL MINISTRY Its work covers: 1 To implement the 18-month pastoral care to help the trainees mature spiritually. 2 To hold training courses for workers to equip their spiritual life. To organize regular prayer meetings    and retreats for workers, promoting mutual support. 3 To send out workers to other rehab centres in Hong Kong or other backward countries for a short    period. This is to strengthen their life and their desire to serve in the ministry; it also provides a time    for sharing experience and vision renewal. 4 To spread the vision of "winning the family to Christ". Arrange family days on which the family    can come to visit their loved ones and to hear about the gospel. Many of them become Christian    as they see the change in the life of the brothers and sisters. The family and the trainee can be    ministered in the church.
